A rectangular skating rink measures 60-meter by 25-meter. What is the area and the perimeter of the skating rink? Around the skating rink is a rectangular fence.The distance from the rink to the fence is 3 meters on each side. What is the perimeter of the fence?

Area of rink = 60 x 25 = 1500 sq. meters
Perimeter of rink = 85 meters x 2 = 170 meters
Perimeter of fence
Length = 60 + 3 + 3 = 66 meters
Width = 25 + 3 + 3 = 31 meters
Perimeter = 66 + 31 + 66 + 31 = 194 meters
