1) The Easter Bunny has 5 yellow eggs. Two of the eggs crack. He dyes 4 more yellow eggs. How many eggs does he have that are not cracked?




2) There are 6 bunnies. Four of the bunnies hop away. Two come back. How many bunnies are there now?




3) The Easter Bunny left Tom 7 eggs and Bill 12 eggs. The Easter Bunny has 4 eggs left in her basket. How many eggs did Easter Bunny have in all?




4) In my Easter egg basket I had 12 eggs. My cousins Hannah and Shelby came over for an Easter egg hunt and brought with them 27 eggs. How many eggs do we have in all to find? If we share the eggs equally after the egg hunt, how many eggs will each of us get?




5) Deviled eggs are my favorite food at Easter dinner. If my mom cooked a dozen eggs then cut each egg in half after peeling them, how many pieces of egg would she have altogether?




6) Jan's grandparents brought me an Easter egg basket with a live baby chick in it. It chirped, and chirped, and chirped until they put him in a quiet dark place to rest. It slept from 1:30 p.m. to 2:05 p.m. How long did the baby chick sleep?





7) When the Easter Bunny comes hopping down your bunny trail, he will hop 52 hops in a minute. How many hops will he hop in 3 minutes?





8) In my Easter basket I found two $1.00 bills, 3 quarters, 5 dimes, 3 nickels, and 12 pennies. How much money did I find altogether?





9) Peter ran around a square garden that was a total perimeter of 60 feet. What would each side of the garden be in feet?





10) Each year there is an Easter egg roll on the South Lawn of the White House on Easter. This dates back to 1878. How many years ago was that from today?





11) During the Easter egg roll I came in 9th place! There were 125 children participating in this event with me. How many finished after I did?





12) Now I will be late for the parade, and, oh! The egg, I lost it. The parade starts at noon and I have 40 minutes before it starts. If it takes me 25 minutes to get there what time will I have to leave to be on time for the parade?





13) My sister got into my Easter basket and ate some chocolate. She thinks she ate 16 pieces. Each chocolate has 10 grams of sugar. How many grams of sugar did she eat?






14) Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail, and Peter went down the lane to gather blackberries. If each rabbit picked 27 berries, how many dozen blackberries would they have in all?





15) In question # 14, as the four rabbits went back home to give their mother the berries, Flopsy ate 13, Mopsy dropped 9, Cottontail tossed 6 at a bird, and Peter lost all of his, because he ran straight away to Mr. McGregor's garden. How many berries did they finally give to their mother?
