Answers for Sheet # 196

1) $35

2) 20 designs

3) 2/3

4) Number of tags for parrots = 2 parrots x 2 legs/parrot = 4 tags
Numer of tags for turtles = 4 turtles x 4 legs/turtle = 16 tags
Total = 20 tags

5) You can do it two ways. You can round the numbers before adding or round after adding. In most cases you should get the same answer.

436 rounded to 100 is 400
689 rounded to 100 is 700
So total is 110 pennies

436 + 689 = 1125 pennies. Rounding it to nearest hundred is 1100 pennies.
