Ask someone to choose any number such as his or her age. Then ask him or her to do the following things.

Steps	Example
1. Choose a number	15
2. Add 9	15 + 9 = 24
3. Multiply the sum by 2	24 x 2 = 48
4. Subtract 4	48 - 4 = 44
5. Divide by 2	44 divided by 2 = 22
6. Subtract the number you chose at the start.	22 - 15 = 7
