Answers for sheet # 83

1) - 7 + 12 = 5 yards
2) 15 - 2 = 13 yards
3) 15 + 9 - 3 - 10 + 25 = 36 yards
4) 20 - 6 + 12 + 2 = 28 yards
50 - 28 = 22 more yard
5) 10 - (-3) = 13 meters

Answers for sheet # 82

6.5 km - 2.5 km = 4 Km

Temperature drops 6.6 degrees/Km

4 km x 6.6 degrees/Km = 26.4 degrees

Temperature at 6.5 km will be 20 degrees - 26.4 degrees = - 6.4 degrees

Temperature at 8.5 Km

Temperature at 6.5 km is -6.4 degrees.
8.5 km - 6.5 km = 2 km
2 km x 6.6 degree = 13.2 degrees

Temperature at 8.5 Km = - 6.4 - 13.2 = - 19.6 degree C

Temperature at 10 Km

- 19.6 - (6.6 x 1.5 km)
- 19.6 - 9.9 = 29.5 degrees
