If each person uses two flushes a day, how many flushes will be there in a school year?  If each flush uses 20 litres of water, how much water will be used in a school year? 2) My school has 289 students and about 35 teachers, staff and parents for most of the day. If each person washes hands twice a day, how many hand washings will be there in a school year? If each hand washings uses 5 litres of water, how many liters of water will be used in a school year? (1 school year = 180 days)
