Answers for sheet # 221

1) $76.99 + $58 = $134.99 the boys have

$126.99 x .10 = $12.70 discount amount
$126.99 - $12.70 = $114.29 for the board
$114.29 x .0825 tax = $9.42 tax
$114.29 + $9.42 = $123.72 for the board

2) .25 x 16 = $4 discount
16 – 4 = $12 for the Blink 182 CD
$24 x .75 = $18 discount
$24 - $18 = $6 for the Dixie Chicks CD
$12 + $6 = $18 for the 2 CDs.

3) $46.65 x .15 = $6.85
$46.65 - $6.85 = 38.80
38.80 x .25 = 9.70
38.80 – 9.70 = 29.10
The toaster was finally sold for $29.10

4) 220/370 = .594
.594 x 100 = 59.4% of the time Chipper hit the ball
