Answers for sheet # 219

1) 33.3 x 24 hours = 8 hours sleeping 4/12 x 24 = 8 hours at school.15 x 24 = 3.6 hours doing homework 19/100 x 24 = 4.4 hours doing whatever he wants.

2) 5 x $10 = $50 spent before Christmas
5 x $10 x .5 = $25 spent after Christmas
Terrence could have saved $25 if he waited until after Christmas

3) 316/530 = % Kyle contributed
212/530 = % John contributed

316/530 = .6, or 60%
212/530 = .4, or 40%

4) $10 x .5 = $5.00
$5 x $10 = $15 desired profit
$15/ 20 servings = $.75 per serving

They should sell each serving for $.75 to make a profit.
