2) Freezing happens at 32 degrees Fahrenheit. If the weather forecaster says that Tuesday will be 8 degrees above freezing, what temperature will it be?






3) If the weather forecaster says that Wednesday will be 9 degrees below freezing, what temperature will it be? Freezing happens at 32 degrees Fahrenheit.






4) One Saturday in January, the temperature in Evanston, Illinois was 37 degrees. On Sunday, the temperature rose 7 degrees. What was the temperature on Sunday?
